The Waltons Mellow D has a larger bore than other Waltons high d tin whistles and as such has both a fuller and mellower tone. Interestingly enough, it shares the same mouthpiece and bore size as Waltons’ high c tin whistles.
About Waltons Music
In 1922 violinist, instrument maker and freedom fighter Martin Walton founded Waltons Music Shop in Dublin. With a passion for his heritage, he began publishing Irish sheet music in the 1930s.
