The drum came today. What a great little drum! Just as full of character as my GPS. Christian certainly knows how to treat a skin. The Light Line skin is different, by far, but the tone is just as satisfying. It simply blows my other 14 inch drum away, a Vignoles I bought from you guys way back when. I have not played it much since I got the GPS since there was no comparison in tone or tonality, but this little Light Line, given its size, can hold its head up in any company. I like it. Maybe you could tell. The internal tuners work great! And I won't have to worry about TSA confiscating my tuning tool, or arresting me. So, I have my travel drum. Received the bones and LOVE them. The Percy Danforth tape is GREAT. Not only does he teach you how to get going, but the musicians he preforms with and the music they play is worth the tape even if you don't play the bones. It blew me away. The Clarke's, as always, are great. I love the c whistle. I might be playing it more then the d--I like the way it responds. Once more, thank you for the great customer service. My coworker is a musician who has developed an interested in Irish music. I told him I played the tin whistle, (I also play mandolin and recorder), he asked me to get him a 'nice' tin whistle. I recently purchased two Feadog Tin Whistles in D, a black one for him and a green one for me, from your website. These whistles are just what I expected, fine Irish instruments. We are both very pleased with these whistles. I own two other whistles, a Walton and a Tipperary. This will be a nice addition to the collection. I am interested in learning to play the Low Whistle in D. I am considering the Tony Dixon Irish Whistle & Flute Duo. I told my wife "you can never have too many whistles". I received my Feadog Pro D and Dixon Trad (which you highly recommended). The Pro D plays as I have read about - a little less sensitive than the standard brass. The Trad is just as you described, Blayne. It sounds good and is smooth to play - I am truly enjoying it. Thank you so much for your time and advice. It was above and beyond and I will buy from Whistle & Drum again!
