Description
Andrea Corr of The Corrs Playing a Feadóg
A nice presentation pack containing a Feadóg Original Irish whistle in the Key of D with fingering chart and International instruction sheet with several tunes to get you started. Available in Brass, Nickel, Black, Blue, Green, Grey and Red.
The tone of Feadóg whistles could be described as “classic tin whistle”; in the same family of sound as say Generations and Oaks though unique. It takes only a small amount of air to play these whistles. As such, they are not loud but more on the quiet side. They also have a bit of chiff, finishing of the otherwise pure tone with a slight edge.
About Feadóg
Feadóg Teoranta (Irish for "Whistles Ltd.") was founded in Dublin in 1978 with the aim of producing a high quality, traditional Irish whistle that was actually made in Ireland and was affordable to anyone who wanted to play music. Since then, they have stuck firmly to that principle and the company has gone from strength to strength.
