Starter kit available as a double-pack (Whistle & Book) or triple-pack (Whistle, Book & Companion CD). The tutor book features a step-by-step approach with both standard music notation and fingering (tin whistle tablature). It takes the beginner through the basics all the way up to basic ornamentation and includes a selection of nice airs and dance tunes.

If your aim is to become proficient at traditional Irish music, being able to play both airs and dance tunes with authenticity, this is a nice place to start. We do recommend however that you also purchase a more comprehensive tutorial (especially one with an accompanying CD as traditional Irish music is an oral tradition) Have a look through our tutorials section. We only sell tutorials that we would recommend personally so any would be a great addition to your tutelage.
