Book of Kells Chi Rho Tapestry
Product Description
This gorgeous tapestry is made in North Carolina and woven on jacquard looms. It's a large piece, measuring 51" x 72" (6 Feet Tall!) so it's great for anyone needing to decorate a larger space. It's also a great aid in helping to dampen sound reflections in a room as it's fairly thick. Blayne (our founder) found this piece while helping a nearby pub with it's interior decor.
The design is taken from the book of Kells and focuses in on the Chi Rho symbol, one of the earliest forms of a christogram. See wikipedia's entry on the Chi Rho symbol by clicking here.
